Pretty much in his own world. There are no right answers to the case studies, but if you don't agree with him, you still get a crappy grade. If you overwhelm him with numbers though, he is lazy, so he'll give you a great grade and assume you put in a lot of effort. Make some fancy charts, and you're great to go.
Overall you should come out with a great grade if you do all the case summaries, presentations and exam! The prof. was in his own world, showed up when he wanted to (it was online). Be prepared not to know what your grade is until after finals, he does not respond to emails.
simple A but a worthless prof.. He's just a liar. He tells a story about him having Tea with the queen of England and discussing the Falkland war. He assigns a lot of work, but it is all busy work and does nothing to educate you. He is without a doubt one of the worst prof.s I can imagine.
He really didn't teach much. Changed class time whenever he felt like it - sometimes canceled class and sometimes ended class later than should have. Gave very little feedback on projects - long turn around time. When had class, just had case presentations. I did fine in class but didn't learn anything. Waste of time.
Worst class that I've had at Xavier. Prof. has no respect for students time by continually showing up late and giving long case study projects that he probably doesn't even read. Sets terrible expectations with regards to projects and doesn't provide timely grades or feedback to at least tell you how you're performing.
Showed up late more than once. Never responds to e-mails. Hasn't given back one of the many, many projects yet. Graded the mid-term less than a week before the final.
Class was overall OK. Really didnt learn anything earth shattering that I didnt know from Marketing 500. His courses are fascinating, but there is alot of reading and case studies. Exams are impartially simple.
Where to begin, he showed up 20-35 mins late to almost all of the courses, except the 1st. Tons of cases and extra reading. Bad at replying to emails. Not very clear regarding what he expects in terms of exams, cases, discussion boards, and then gets pissy when people do it wrong (he cancelled one class b/c of this). Worst prof.I've ever had. |
